So yesterday my s2k way running fine, but today it won’t start. It turns over and over but won't start. I have noticed the "green key" is flashing and wont stop, but I can't remember if this is normal or not. Is it? The key I'm using is the same one I have used for 2 years.

Any ideas?

 

I tried charging the battery but that didn't work. I wonder if it could be a problem with the alternator. It has stalled on me a few times and where I live (Maine) it is very cold, so in the mornings when I start my car it makes this awful sound that I think is my alternator going. It sounds like trying to start a car that is already running.
