Default if you shut off ur car driving?

well i was going down the road and my gf was pissed and thought itd be funny to shut off my car so could this cause any problems? i have a 1990 5sp accord

As long as its in neutral or clutch is pressed down its fine. But power steering will shut off.

well the clutch wasnt pushed in....we were going down a road at like 45 i had no idea she was reaching for the keys untill it was over then i pulled over and started and it started just fine but when i woke up there was a small puddle of oil under my car....could it have caused this?

Certainly surprising, yes; and a little more than just problamatic if in traffic but it won't hurt a thing.
Accords of that generation are stalling on the road all the time (if the discussions around here are any indication )

no it wont hurt your car ... i'm sure the oil is non related ... what kind of oil was it ... motor oil ... transmission oil

I love how some people tend to blame others for problems with their car based on what someone else does. I know friend, you are not blaming, you are asking where to put the blame. Dont blame her for the oil leak, its been leaking for a long time, you just now noticed an actual puddle but the area down there is all wet from days or weeks of a leak.

I will say this, if you want to get rid of her, then use the leak for an excuse.

When you fix the leak, and I hope it is soon, go ahead and replace all the parts to the PCV system too, if your engine has a PCV system.

Unless your GF has a serious Urinary Track problem, I'd have to say she had absolutely nothing to do with it.

your car wont have any damage from the
turning off of the ignition..so no need to
worry on that one.
