Car jerks when switching gears, disengaging clutch
92 Integra LS, manual – cable
You’re probably thinking “It’s normal,” nope not like this.
I have driven many manual transmission cars and none of them jerked like this car.
Just bought the car, previous owner states recently replacing clutch.
Violent jerk most noticeable during switching gears and upon disengaging clutch
Jerking could be visibly seen by a person looking at car from the outside on front-end wheel/tire/suspension
Shifts in and out of gears without issues, stays in gear without issue. No noises, no grinds, no leaks.
I checked motor mounts and brackets, they’re all good. Bushings all good.
I think something is wrong with my clutch/pressure plate/flywheel
Driven approx 600 miles like this, isn’t getting any better.
Sucks to be in stop and go traffic.
My initial thought was that it could be some sort of unsprung racing clutch/competition pressure plate setup
Is it also possible that I’m either missing any part of the clutch assembly, or anything that would have been replaced during a clutch replacement? (clutch throwout bearing, pilot bearing, ect)?
What do you guys think?

Probably overheated and warped flywheel or clutch disc. Leaking rear main seal. Or yes, engine mounts. You can’t always tell visually that they are worn out.
