THHN wire ok for battery relocation?

Default THHN wire ok for battery relocation?

What is thhn wire and would it be ok for relocating a battery to the trunk?

THHN Building Wire stands for “Thermoplastic High Heat-resistant Nylon coated”. IF you get a large enough gauge for your application, it should work. But be sure you isolate it enough from any points the wire may rub up against hard or sharp metal edges since the nylon coating isn't designed for that type of abuse.

Cool, thanks a lot. I found a place in town that sells 2 guage for $0.78/foot so it'll save me a lot of money this way.
