what seats if any will fit into a crx with lil or no modification. im lookin to get some new seats and just wanted some ideas.

yes, we need to know the year of your crx in order to tell you what will fit. the 88-89 seats have a different bolt pattern than the 90-91 seats.

 

I think actually 88-89 have a different bolt pattern also. I have an 89 CRX Si that was manufactured in 11/88, I bought some used replacement seats without rails and tried to put them in the other day before CRXPO and the bolts that secure the rail didn't line up on the new seats. They were both the grey and dark grey stripped ones without the red lines in them...... could they be from a 88/89 Civic Si?

 

i have an 89 civic si and the seats have the gray, dark gray and red lines on them. my GF has an 88 civic si and it has the gray and dark gray lines. maybe the 88-89 crx si seats don't fit in the 88-89 civic si seats?

I put 90 Si hatch seats into my 88 SE hatch. no modification at all... I heard that 88-89 and 90-91 have different seats, but it seemed to work just fine for me

Well, I don't know what is up. They only mismatched by maybe an 1/2 inch. But I was wondering now I have two passenger seats with good cloth and padding. Is it possible to unwrapp the seat skelatons and just make two good seats out of them? Anyone do this before.
