RPM's Pulsing???
Hello, and before I forget thanks for all help if you reply ahead of time.
I have a 1991 Honda Accord LX with a F22a6 Stock, besides short ram AEM intake. I use this as my daily driver only.
The Problem: Seems to only do it in cold weather, the RPM's pulsate when you are at idle. This is not affecting any way the car runs, but it is just annoying when you stop at a red light and the cars reving and dropping. Also, it will continue to do it even when the car has warmed up.
What could this be and how would I fix this???
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You.

Vacuum leak, dirty Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) or possibly and air bubble in the cooling system. The FITV is usually only suspect if this surging is during warm up only. Where you are having it after the engine has come up to temp I would leave the FITV be for now.
Check all vacuum hoses for cracks or improper connection. Spray little bursts of carb/throttle body cleaner around all vacuum ports and gaskets. If your idle changes you have found a leak.
Clean the IACV, there is a lengthy and very accurate DIY in the FAQ covering the removal and cleaning of the IACV.
Bleed the cooling system and ensure that all air pockets have been eliminated. Loosen the bleed screw on the top of the t-stat housing and remove the rad cap. Add your usual 50/50 coolant water mix until only fluid is coming up out of the bleed screw. tighten the bleed screw and start your car and let it idle. Add 50/50 mix as required to keep the level to the bottom of the filler neck.
Reset the ECU once all this is done. remove the backup fuse or disconnect the (-) battery terminal for 30 seconds. Remember if you have the factory radio to have the reset radio code handy.
