Today when i woke up my car started just fine and i drove it and turned it off then i tried to start it up it started up for like 2 seconds and then shut off. i tried to jump start it and push start it but it didnt work.
what should i check?

 

is it cranking just not starting or nothing at all? it could be lots of thingas without more details... fuel pump, no spark, etc...

 

its cranking but it wont start. usually when it happens i just jump start it but it isnt working this time.

 

i just checked if it was sparking and it was sparking.

 

do u here ur fuel pump prime when u first turn the ignition on? sounds like ur not getting fuel if u have got spark and are cranking.

well u hear ur pump priming when u turn ur ignition on. it sounds like a hum/vibration...
u could pull an injector out and see if its spraying....

My car wont also start. One night commuted from work farther than usual and drove the engine hard a bit. Parked it. Next morning it wont start.

There is spark, fuel on the plugs, rotor inside dizzy cap turns, cam gears line up, timing belt is tight, but theres one thing. I just did a compression test and the results are weird.

stock gsr swap with intake and exhaust in a 94 hatch

psi from dizzy to right cyls

140 , 125 , 175 , 150

some of them took more than a couple cranks to reach the max psi

175 was alot quicker than the others.

please help. only car i have.

i will also check the main relay.

 

check that your fuses arent blown. the ones inside the cabin...

 

What fuses and what relays do you speak of... I want to know as well?
