Yes... and I do believe it is still in the USA. If it was still around, it would show up at any of the HIGHEND vintage BMW events. While the car sold immediately after its very first concurs show in the early 80's, it disappeared immediately afterwards. Then one day(around 2002) I was watching a Speed TV special on the Monterey Historics races and there she was... exactly the same as when it left the shop, sticker and all

Funny thing about that sticker... the car was being prepped for the Long Beach GP concurs and a shop knucklehead ran a screw driver along the fender, hence the sticker... and its still there

Nothing better than rolling through San Pedro/Long Beach harbor district in a late 40's early 50's full bodied formula car with open baffles
