well mate....apart from pics....i need answers!!! I NEED THE PART NUMBER as everyone knows....AEM do not make the AEM V2 for DC2 type Rs!!!
Though i heard that AEM V2 part number: 24-6017c which originally is made for a Civic Si/Vti 99-00, Do fit directly bolt on, on DC2 Type Rs!!!!
Is this true????

You’ll want to use the intake for the Integra LS 1994-2001, that should be a direct fit. Although, I would rather go with the standard 3” ITR cold air intake.
are you 100% sure?
My mechanic thinks that 24-6017C is the direct fit?
Also, i heard that V2 is better than the standard 3” ITR cold air intake...
Integra LS 1994-2001 and Integra Type R have the same engine bays???? :-S

Yes, the LS and the ITR have the same bay; the throttle body placement is also the same. The Civic Si piping won’t be a direct fit.
IMO, you heard wrong, you're better off with the ITR CAI.

in that case....how come the LS and the ITR have different part numbers for the normal AEM CAI???

The LS Integra CAI has a different part number because the piping size is different, the ITR uses a 3” pipe and the LS have a 2.75” pipe. Aside from the piping diameter the bends and fitment of the intake is identical.
Forget the price my friend.....im just quoting that website because the part number is 24-6017C for a DC2 ITR when in fact...its originally for a Civic Si!!!
AEM V2 are not manufactured for ITRs......i just want to know any part number that fits bolt on!!!???

With tuning, picked up 13whp with that intake over an AEM 3" CAI. Numbers mean nothing though, the car feels much more responsive just driving around even.
