Spoon N1 axle-back on fg2
has anyone done this that can give me info on how they did it?
the Spoon N1 would be off of a DC5.
Does the piping match up?
would i only need to customize the hangers?
hope someone could answer this for me, thanks.

The only reasonable answer I can come up with is this:
I don't think the axleback from a DC5 is going to fit your FG2, i.e. piping angles and hangers, etc. It's two different cars with different setups. If you were taking an axleback from an FA5 and wanting to put it on your FG2 than it would work, you just have to ditch the extension/spacer that makes the the two exhausts different. FA5 is obviously longer than the FG2.

DC5 axleback will not work.
only thing I've seen on 8th about the spoon N1 is about the FD2 version.
also, there is a thread with pics about using DC5 header and exhaust but that was about using the cat back. *spoiler alert* it hangs too low.

he is talking about the muffler, but he wants to know if he will have to modify it by adding or removing pieces fromt he exhaust pipe. cuz that will cost more money etc, etc.

SIVIC 3 has a good idea

Zeusone, why don't you answer the OP's question since you know where to find all the answers?

Was this a direct bolt-on or did you have to mess with the b pipe? If so, what did you do to the b pipe? I'm getting a Spoon N1 exhaust for my FA5, which would be made for an FD2. They are very similar but still something may be different, just wondering what.
Thanks in advance.

SPOON Sports does NOT make any products for FG2s simply because Honda does not produce FG2s in Japan. My FG2 racecar is sponsored by OPAK Racing (Spoon Sports US) and the only way to put on a N1 for DC5 is to take the rear section and make custom B-Pipes and custom pipe to go over the axle. Basically you will only be using the N1 muffler.
