every since i got my exhaust im peelin in every gear and the speed is great and my boost spiked to 10 cuz i got no cat now with 2.5 inch piping straight through which i set at 7 but its all good im sure my stock motor can handle it..anyways will i lose power if i gun it too much before i go to track??

 

As long as you have the fuel for timing for it, 9-10 psi on a GS-R motor is fine.

You will lose power if your motor blows. And from what I've seen, 10 psi on a stock GSR motor without fuel (assuming you are using an FMU setup?) is plenty to make you lose a ring or two, and probably much worse.

 

its always bad to abuse your car like that... but we all do! just keep within a safe boost level and make sure everything is all good...

 

yep..i would most likely sey keep it at a good bo0st level and ull be fine..i mean there is a limit in which the motor cant handle it..but within a safe bo0st level..ull be fine..and only punch it when its needed..

 

exactly. you're gonna feel like a real dumbass if you blow your motor just cuz "you felt like gettin on it." now.... if you blow your motor while smokin a corvette... i think that's 100% worth it... and makes for a great kill story.
