Default coolant leak

got a 96 honda accord with a coolant leak. i thought i was a head gasket but after thorough investigation i found that the leak is coming from a hard pipe that runs to some aluminum piece that has a bleeder valve and a coolant hose that runs from the bottom of the of the radiator. i think it's the intake. the aluminum "flange" is right next to what i think is the egr valve. my first question is what is this hard pipe called, and can i repair this leak without buying a new one. can i use rtv on it or something. it's not spraying but it's a pretty constant drip. any help would be appreciated. thank you

check the hoses also, remove hard pipe, inspect for cracks and then reinstall with new gaskets. since oyu are draining the cooling system, replace all of your hoses as well.
