i remember that stock si/gsr bars are forward just a little to prevent that sensor on top of the TB from hitting and cracking, i believe its the TPS? or something? well yah i remember one time a friend put his on backwards and we found out later that the engine moves and it smashed it up into the bar, cracking part of it. luckily his wasnt broken.

that bar in the pic looks like it goes directly over the top. just a heads up, but it does look nice.

 

wow.. nice looking bar.. its got 4 mounting points around the strut tower... i want one.. but i doubt my local kragen carries it..

 

What the hell is that filter on top section of valve cover??

it's a secondary intake system! makes the car mad fast, specially with a 20g connected to it.

It's not triangulated like this one.

Does it make a difference? I don't know.

I guess I answered my own question

 

Yea, I like the design of the Carbing better... not because I have one but because all both joints meet right at the bracket on each side so it would be a little stiffer. Is that little extra stiffness needed? Debatable.

 

Yeah, people are flocking to triangulated strut bars because they're "stunna yO!"

The ITR bar is nice...but those 2 bars look NICE!

 

thats my car, posting under my friends name cuz the ****'s banned my *** here, i got it 109 with employee discount, the filter is a breather for the valve cover, dont like oil vapors going into my intake system

 

its special order, takes a week or so

 

who makes the bar? i wanna go ask my local kragen to see if they can get it. u got a part # or anything?

like i said above though, if u use any manifold other than a stock gsr u will need to move the map sensor.
