Trying to replace the battery in a 2005 Accord Hybrid (V6). Purchased an Interstate Megatron (Group 35) battery. For some reason, the battery terminal on the (+) pos. battery post will not fit the new Interstate battery. Battery post is too small in diameter / terminal will not squeeze down small enough to properly secure on the post. Don't know why the HONDA battery post would be a different diam. than standard??? Has anyone else run into this problem? Have you had to swap out the terminal for a standard battery terminal? Why is it different? Any confirmation, solution would be appreciated. Need answer ASAP, as the current battery is dead. Thanks!
