(non honda fab) Subaru EWG
Thought some of you might find it interesting, been a long time reader but never posted. But I got my hands on some of the new Tial wastegates and this is something I did over the weekend for a friend of the friend. Also included a pic comparing the 44 to the 38. The new wastegates are nice and tiny and should be a good addition for those wanting something small for those tight spaces. This setup will be rerouted back into a downpipe just waiting on some flex bellows.

i think ill use these on my corolla, more compact/lighter/cheaper. two 44mm gates at 300 + or 2 of these for less than 250 a piece makes me not dread buying wastegates as much.
nope the flanges are smaller, also while the "older" 38mm wastegates use the 1.5" tubing for the inlet and outlet, the new ms-v now uses 1.75" tubing for the inlet and on the v-band flange there is a smooth transition back down to 1.5" for the actual inlet of the wastegate.
Ya, the cost of these is very nice, as I've always avoided the 38mms due to the gaskets. Also these come with the v-band flanges already so you dont have to buy the flanges seperate adding an additional cost like you did with the older 38's.
