cant find brakeboost/vaccuum line

Default cant find brakeboost/vaccuum line

Hi , i have a 96 accord lx. and i want to seafoam it but i cant seem to find the vaccumm or brakeboost line or wherever you suppose to induce the seafoam into the intake or something. anyone got a picture pointing it out? Thnaks

It's the big black hose that goes from the back of the intake plenum over to the Big black cylinder on the right side of the firewall (the brake booster) Sorry I don't have a pic of it though. There should be a grey connector between the two pieces of black rubber hose directly above the cylinder. Take the hose apart there and put the seafoam into the hose that is attached to the engine. Remove the grey valve if it is on the engine hose end.

Pick any vacuum hose off the intake; it's all the same.

I would suggest to use on of the vacuum lines in the center of the plenum, Brake Boost in the rear or PCV in the front. This will aid in the even distribution of the Seafoam into more than one cylinder. Using the throttle body or one of the vacuum ports on the end of the plenum usually ends up with only the closest cylinders being cleaned.

Or you could do an even amount in all 4 areas. a bit in the throttle body a bit in the brake boost port, a bit in the PCV port and then a little bit in one of the vacuum ports on the closed end of the plenum. That should give you a good chance of cleaning all of the cylinders.
