door not lined up
ok my door seems like its saggy but i can lift up on the door and theres no play so i figured i could adjust the lil thing it atatches to but that and the thing on the door dont look like u can adjust them
Take the door off and and then put it back on. Support it with a jack though and maybe get a helper. This way you can see how the whole mechanism works and see if anythings off. I did this with 3 of my cars lol. Hinges and **** go over the years.
no it looks fine and the holes arnt sloted to where i can adjust them im just tryen to find another way to adjust it so i dont her a clunk then shut of the door when i close it or open
I know my hinge 'looked' alright but was making a nice clunking noise whe nit opened and shut and then after a few weeks the car door got lower and the did the same thing yours is doing now but much worse. I supported it underneath too kit off and retightened everything. But getting it done soon is key because if you are lifting up on the door or anything like that to open it. It can make the problem worse over time i.e. stretching metal, misalligning worse. Remember these parts are 18 years old. Just because its metal doesn't mean it's indestructible. You'd be surprised how easy is really to rip a door off lol :-P
lol i kno but on my parts car the door has the same about of play in it but dosnt make these noses like it will lift up a tiny bit like myn dose but it has no problem
