Default howdy

I hope this is the right section to post this....if not I dont really care....I bought a 90 civic this summer that did not run I was working as a lube tech at a local Honda dealership so one of the master techs helped me rebuild the motor....now with around 6,xxx miles after the rebuild everything is going great.....wanting to do a swap but not for awhile being a full time student requires my money to be spent else where hope you enjoy the pictures

picture of it in the parking lot before starting the whole rebuild

I know its really ghetto but we did not even pull the motor just bough a cheap rebuild kit of ebay and had the head hot tanked and checked over

also painted the wheels

and now how it is today

Nice. Any plans for the suspension?

Kudos on the rebuild, btw. That civic should last you a long, long time with a fresh engine.

Not anytime in the near future...maybe this summer get some tokico shocks and springs...but I really do not plan on spending much money on it till I am out of college when I plan on going full coil overs....still doing research but hopefully by the time I graduate I should have everything planned out

ghetto because I did not even pull the motor just undid the rod caps and pushed the pistons out the top and put new pistons and rings on

yeah I would like to get rid of the cancer but I have no experience with body work...I plan on just taking it to a shop when I graduate and letting them take car of that and repainting....fortunately thats all the cancer on the body

Thanks man......just to get it out there...the Honda master tech that helped me with the build has done the same rebuild to a couple other EFs he owns......they have all had the same problem....this one had more oil leaks than anyone could count so we figured it wore down the rings also replaced all oil seals besides the rear main seal which I plan on replacing this spring when I replace the clutch....also has new tires so pretty much its a brand new 1990 civic
