If you don't feel the motor shaking or misfiring most likely your coil is causing your tach to jump around. Remember, you get your tach signal on the negative side of the coil..........

Is it your tach or your motor? You have the early Legend motor, which had a tach problem similar to what you're describing...

your tach gets its signal from the igniter, not the coil. blue wire on side of igniter.

Ignition Coil for sure. Actually, it is a faulty resistor IN the ignition coil but you cannot get that seperate. You need part # 30520-P0G-A02.

Damn you guys are good, thanks. Also, I cannot install **** on my car, how much is the part and how much installed? What would happen if I just let it go, and not fix it? I really only spend $ on gas and oil on this car now !

Just checked.
$577.80 for parts
$62.30 for labor
$3.12 shop fee/misc.
$37.56 Tax
----------------
$680.78 For everything.

It might be a lil cheaper depending what your dealers shop rate is. Sounds like a DIY project to me.
