Default unusual scratches?

just wondering does anyone have any particular method of waxing the hood or preventing it from getting fine scratches? i know its kinda of no way to get no scratches...but it seems like everytime i wash the car i see more and more fine scratches on the hood. my hood was repainted year ago so its still pretty clean. but like today i haven't washed my car for like two weeks....i rinsed off the car and soaped it and noticed that there were some unusual fine scratches that u can see. i had to use some rubbing compound to get it so u can't see it.

do u guys have a special method of waxing the hood and stuff?

Easiest way is buffer with buffing compund and finish off with a good wax. I got a black em1...what a pain in the @$$! Its work but will take those tiny hairline eyesore scratches out. Good luck
