i guess there called boser hoods...its a oem hood with some added sheet metal..vw's have been doing it for years...ima try and get one made!

if that hoods custom they must be cheap, i swear EVERY civic ive seen in a euro magazine has that hood. hell i though it was oem honda, just an edm hood or something

This is new to you lot? It's been going on in Europe forever.

It's known as a "Bad Boy" bonnet (stupid i know, but i didn't come up with it) and it's just welded on strips of metal on the leading edge of the OEM bonnet/hood.

Any body shop worth a deal could do it.

 

Im sure if you had a child you didnt want you could always trade the kid for the hood...just a thought...

No, it's not difficult for anyone with basic fab skills. Cut, shape, weld, tidy, prep, paint.

 

Dont do it.. Allmost anybody here in Denmark have it on their VW, BMW, Audi, Opel..
Mostly a german look..

there called bad boy bonnets in the UK
metal plates welded on smoothed and painted
dunno if it affects light beam

 

just get eyelids and paint them/
