integra turbo..... dead battery???? timing off???
aight have a slight problem.... i havent driven my car since september..... just started it once a week since then..... today i had a dead battery and got a jump,,,,took it for a drive... now back firing, slow accleration, and some type of flutter coming from exhaust .... could the tune have reset???? or timing off????

there could be any number of issues with this. you can start looking anywhere from your ECU, Inside your ECU, your Map sensor, Throttle position sensor. make sure the plug is making a proper connection.......there are many other variables....I don't know your set-up but that's where I would start for a problem like yours. is your car barely idling also? with your battery being dead your ECU just wouldn't reflash itself so throw that idea out the door. you can also check codes from your ECU. let us know what happens.
Check your voltage while the car is running. It could be your Alternator not charging the battery? But more likely its gonna be low voltage output from the battery.
car idles fine........ one more thing...... i had the same gas since sept and it was very low on start up.... (gas light was NOT on).. i filled it up asap..... not sure if i need to drain the tank......
