I've been researching, and the old (if not revised then still old) mahle gold piston design is a failure and bad piston (at least for boost). They (people on prelude power forums) that they're meant for n/a app and not boost and thats why they fail. Its not that the ringlands go but they end up raping the cylinder wall which is part due to it being the frm lining. I've seen people have good from these too though, also theres problems with rods fitting well. My decision was set on these but im starting to second guess, have they been revised or are they actually not so bad?
