You should explain what you mean if you're going to make wild statements.

yes, arithmetic in it's most basic form.i meant they're good for 150 per cylinder total,as in at the crank.600 crank should be a little over 500WHP.
Chris</TD></TR></TABLE>Yeah but hell my car is on the complete stock motor and is making good power onlow boost with E85.....I dont see a problem with pushing a set of these pistons to over 700whp

I have a set of Gold-Serie Mahle piston and one of them is scratch. When I slid my nail through the side, it'll get stuck. I wonder if I can sand it down the side to make it smooth again and I can re-use the piston. Will it be safe? or do I have to buy one new mahle piston. Any suggestion or opinion would be nice.

I hope this isn't a repost but, if these gold series pistons come stock in the new BMW M Series then they should be good for H22a4's right?

very interesting: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J269H_M0UDM

,, finally got gt35r on , car runs like a champ daily driven boostin 20psi..the pistons can hold lots of boost but it is the engine assemblers responsibility to make sure all clearances are right..."valves esspesially" theese pistons are awsome ,bent a valve smack a piston put it right back together and do it again...went to track last weekend 12.00 @124mph ,if i could just get it too hook up..check out you tube ssmpowered civic .
i will vouch though theese pistons were manufactered for the import enthusiast and have been around for years just not to many people know... the also do indy car pistons running to15000rpm.. that should say somthing.

I have some Mahle golds on the way for my closed deck h22a. Going to be running a Garrett t3/t4 61 with a 70a/r cold side 63 a/r hot. I want to make 400+ whp tuned on ectune. I am not going to hone, cylinders look fine. It will be done by the time snow is gone.

none of the b series guys take this to heart please... but do yall not realize that the only reason us H guys are interested in the Mahle's is because our motors are made out of FRM which doesnt allow us to run other pistons unless we resleeve?

Whats up guys, just finished my H22 build using the Mahle pistons. Started up first try after fixing a few fuel leaks, other than that no problems. Runs pretty good on base map although I've only heat cycled it twice and then changed the oil and filter. Just got my Vibrant 3" muffler and Kteller 3" piping in this week, going to slap it on and hit up the dyno this weekend for some tuning. Hoping for 500hp, I'll update with some numbers when I get them.
