Default One time engine stutter/sputter

1997 del Sol VTEC, light mods, no modified internals
170,000 miles
Very well maintained engine
20k miles ago, it had OEM Emissions recall (all new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, cat, and injectors)

This morning on my way to work, I was doing about 100mph for about 1 solid hour. (Try not to discuss the legality or appropriateness of my actions please. I'm an adult, I'm aware of the consequences.) I stopped at a toll booth to pay my $1, and in first gear at maybe half throttle the engine sputtered a few times. No CEL, no oil light, fluid levels are good. Engine temps are perfect. Valves have been adjusted 5k miles ago. Air filter is clean. No exposed wires causing shortages. After this momentary hesitation, car appeared to drive normally. Basically it felt like a hiccup. It has never done this before (and I hope to prevent it in the future.)

I'm at work now, and I'll have more info when I arrive home. I'm curious if maybe OEM spark plugs running at that speed for that long may have just been too hot for a low RPM, low throttle situation.

Any other ideas maybe?
