Default k&n fipk vs snorkle style intake

i just recently purchased an s2000 and out of the two i was wondering wich one i should go with. Im intrested in throttle response and maybe a few exrtra hp here and there.

i would say just ditch those 2 options and go ***** out with a filter attached straight to the thorttle body. it's the only way to go if you really wanna add horsepower to your engine...

they sell the mugen copies for cheap on ebay, just get one of those, they look cool and work just as good.

Joey is kidding, I hope.
I would go with the factory air box mod, a K&N filter and a snorkel. It's probably not going to give you the most power gains, but it's the best way to go IMO.

do you have to cut the hood for the ebay snorkles or do they have both versions?

I have an ebay snorkle and didn't have to cut my hood. Im not aware of the two versions. I always thought that there was only one.
