I know right? It gets tedious seeing the same inane questions, so why not throw something crazy out there. You have to admit though, its a very nice design and its a quite aesthetically pleasing piece under the hood.

gruppe-m makes the best looking intake out there and with all the people cutting maf housings like for the X intake you could make it work and look reall good i had actually thought of buying a fujita and just using there arm and cutting it down and doing it that way too.
I would love to have one, but they're either very well engineered or just overpriced and I can't spend that much money on it. If I had an Evo or an M3 or something, and it guaranteed me 20-30 whp, yea, maybe i'd spend the money on it, but on a Honda or MINI no way!

I guess it's a trade off for reliability, and it sucks that manufacturers aren't offering factory upgrades (like Mazdaspeed has a short ram for hte Mazdaspeed3) that work with the sensors.

Yea that's the problem, a lot of the solutions hack up the stock pieces to accomodate the sensors. But I know an intake manufacturer that messed up the stock MAF sensor on the 07+ MINIs and now they have their engines periodically going into limp mode because the sensor goes ape ****.

Be glad that they dont because the MazdaSpeed intake has been thought to cause problems and has since been takin off the shelves by Mazda. That Intake does look bad *** though, I like the ones where they have a part to suck air from outside the car, soo bad ***!
I always wanted to get a SRI and cut a big hole above it to

that guy used to be k20sdn on 8th and he had pics of the install and stuff but has since taken it down. you also have to move either your brake or clutch reservior but its no big deal because they are kinda zip tied down. either way i really like that intake
