Dent removal delp?
Hi, I recently got into an accident in my civic, against a mailbox.
Its pretty dented up. I had a dent on the driver door and one day I decided to take a a trip to the dollar store and bouight a toilet plunger. Haha so I came home put it against the dented and plunge it. I got down to take a closer look and it increased the size of the dent.
Stupid me.
THe passenger rear quarter is pushed in a bit to where it doesnt line up with the door, any possible way for me to DIY on it?
Ill post pics of the damage if neccasary.

My suggestion is make friends with someone that has a body tool called a stud welder. Or get a dent puller(5-10 bucks at local auto store) if u don't mind putting a temporary hole in the quarter, either way, grind the entire dent to bare metal, and take a sander and sand the paint approx 3-5" from outer edge of the dent, google the term "feather edging" place stud or dent puller in center of dent and pull out using either tool. Then fill accordingly, I reccomend standard body filler use rasp and block sanding to level, when to desired level do a thin skim coat using polyester body filler to eliminate pinholes in standard body filler for a smooth even finish. Sand smooth using low grit(240 good for starting polyester) and workin up to finer grit until smoooooth level surface is acheived. Primer(don't use spray paint) then paint, make sure you don't expose primered surface to too much weather, primer is porous and draws in moisture and of course will cause rust. I hope this helps man, if need me PM me with any other questions, I've been doing this stuff on the side for about 10 years and have been certified. Again, good luck dude. And post pics!
