VACF for D16Z6
I got a 89 HF with a D16z6 I/H/E and i use the Si computer and dizzy. I was wondering what kind of HP i can get out of buying a VACF and bumping up the fuel and maby throw in 370cc injectors.
You really not going to get the performance gain your paying for with that kind of money. The differances between the P6 & P28 ECU's. Is in the timing maps, with very little in the fuel maps... Sooo, getting one of them will not allow you to adjust, where it's need most. Spend the money on getting a P28 up and going. You will be alot happier in the long run, with the performance from it...

Yeah... the si computer isn't really that suitable for the sohc vtec's. I read in Sport Compact Car that using a non-vtec computer with a vtec engine can result in .2-.5 seconds slower in the quarter. Just use a p28, then chip it. the coversion isn't all that tough, really.
