What size rims for ES1 LX?
Im looking into upgrading my 02 LX rims and tires. It has the stock 14's on it right now. So i started researching the rims i wanted and found the Enkei RPF1. I like them in the painted black to go with my ES1's black paint. Where im lost is what size to get? I was initially thinking 16", but now im starting to think 15". I have read on these forums that the stock mag's were 15" so would that be a good option to keep from stressing the driveline too much. The weight difference is pretty large between the 15" (9.5 lbs.) and 16" (13.5 lbs), so thats another reason i have been thinking about the 15" considering their both 7inches wide. I also recently lowered my vehicle about 1.3-1.5 inches, so please take that into consideration. Thank you for any tips.
It comes down to personal preference. 16s shouldn't cause any additional wear as long as offset and rolling diameter are respected. 4lbs/wheel isn't earthshattering but you would probably notice a little difference.
FWIW I'd choose 15s.

Thank you for the info so far. I loof forward to more. Im just so lost as to which size. I wish i could have both put on and see the difference. I know they have those virtual guides but its just not the same as seeing it in person. As far as rims go, im pretty sure im gonna go with the RPF1's. Does anyone know the weight of the stock EX rims, as well as the weight of the stock hubcaps on our tiny 14". Thanks as always.
