Default What Paint For Moldings

Im gona paint my crx and i want to know what do i use to paint the moldings to make it original.
I dont want to use a paint that is shinny

for all the parts that i painted plastic i painted it with krylon or something like that, something that says for plastic

I can vouch for the dupli-color bumper paint. Its good stuff, make sure you use an adhesive promotor before using the bumper paint. I used the dupli-color adhesive promotor. Also scrub the moldings with a scotch-brite pad and then go over them with a clean rag and some rubbing alcohol before painting. Thats about all the prep that is needed. No probs at all.

wat about moldings that are painted over?

What about the Dupli-Color Trim paint? Does that work good? and do i still have to use the adhesive promotor?

what about the trim around the windows and the hatch. mine is peeling real bad and i want to redo it.

I painted my trim the same color as my car
but my car's black so... It looks good I think

i'm gonna try that. flat black rattle bombs sucked when i tried to paint my aging pieces, so i just stripped it all off.

I used this stuff called "Plasti-Dip" from Home Depot.

I forgot to take before and after pics, and my car is covered in snow right now.


But I painted the inside of my PC with it too. So you can see the finish now. When the plastic spray stuff cures for 24 hours, it's so beef that if you scratch it it will just file your nail down.

i want spray my black moldings to match my car which is silver...the local sherwin williams say they can mix my paint for me and rattle can it. my question is do in need a separate clear coat to go on after i spray it or the duplicate paint is enough?
