LSD = Limited Slip Differential. It has to do with the wheels, and turning.

LSD the parts manufacturer does stand for Legal Speed Designs.
http://www.legalspeeddesigns.com/

Whether or not it is legal depends on local laws. Around here driving any car after 8pm is arguably illegal due to an incredibly ambiguous noise ordinance that pretty much makes anything audible illegal.

LSD cat-backs are nice. Sound good, however very loud.

Dude, the only thing that can possibly be illegal is the sound they make and possibly smog issues but I have no idea about that since I live a bajillion miles away from CA.

Where are you getting this notion that performance exhausts are illegal????

If your worried about being hassled I recommend not getting the LSD cat-back, as it's the loudest I have heard. Go with a greddy and be happy.

Throw on a cat-back exhaust. They won't void your warranty. Even at that if something was to happen they would have to prove your cat-back exhaust did the damage. Remember, your apart of the Honda family now..They run forever

p.s. I'm probably the worst person to talk to about warranties I believe within two weeks of buying mine the warranty was voided. LOL

Any non-Honda exhaust will void your warranty. A non cat-back exhaust, you won't be able to register the vehicle.

Epic fail #2

Non honda exhaust will not void your warranty.. The only reason it could even effect your warranty is if the problem is related to the exhaust.. Like if one of your o2 sensors goes bad due to having no cat..

Yup. If you never run into a problem regarding the exhaust, then there are no grounds to void your warranty for that part. You can modify your suspension also, but if you run into a problem and your modification is the in any way responsible for it then that voids your warranty for your suspension.

If everything goes fine, you do not need the warranty. Therefore, it is not that modifying a part doesn't void your warranty, but rather it voids a warranty which is not needed.

Read up on the Magnuson-Moss Act, modding a part on a car does not void the warranty for the rest of the car. I have had plenty of warranty work done on a modified car.

That is completely wrong.

According to the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer absolutely can not void your vehicle's entire warranty due only to the presence of aftermarket parts, unless it can be proven that the aftermarket part itself caused the failure.
