01' lude tranny into my 92 lude- 5 speed??

Just wondering if anyone know if it's possible to put a new tranny off a 01 lude-5 speed, into my 92 lude sr(dohc engine)?? Can't you swap them for an exact fit, as long as its a h motor?

Yes, it will fit. All H-series tranny will bolt up to any F22Ax or F22Bx motor.

also does it make a difference that my car is non-vtec and the new tranny is coming off a vtec? Is the gearing different?
