Default obdo jdm b16 code 4

car starting bogging out about a week ago threw a code, the nexxt day it was fine, went out today and started doing it again, ecu says its running a code 4, which is the cam angle sensor, also the dizzy is squeaking really loud alot, just replaced the dizzy about 2 months ago, but i used the same cap from my old one, so i pulled the cap off the dizzy and it was cover with brown dust, just trying to figure out how to fix this, any help is appreciated thanks

Cam angle sensor is inside the dizzy. There are 3 wires that hookup in there, Cam Sensor, Crank Sensor and TDC sensor... Sounds like you need a new dizzy, if replacing the cap doesn't work, but I wouldn't waste my time spending money on a new cap as it won't help the sensor inside the dizzy.

second that, replacing the distributor would prolly be your best bet.

yes you have to replace the dizzy. the shaft bearing is going out.. basically eating itself away.. JUST had the same problem you have. if you just bought it. Take it back and get a new one. they should give a new one up.. (Usually have a 1 year warranty for remanned dizzys)
