Default cluster question

So I read all two pages of the gauge cluster swap. I have a 02 dx and wanting to swap to the sedan 05 cluster. My question is that once I swap and rewire will I now have a the RPM gauge working?

I don't see why it would not work after the swap. Provided that it's done correctly and there's no outlying issues.

Yes. DXs are wired for RPM, although the cluster doesn't have it. If you were to plug in an LX or EX 01-02 cluster (no rewiring required) you'd have a working tach.
