Default Stock Exhaust with b swap

Ok well i was running open header for a while and i got tired of it cuz it was way to loud. I have a stock b18b1 with just advanced timing. I put back on the stock exhaust and went to an exhaust shop so they can make a test pipe for me. So i told them to cut the cat off so they room to make a pipe. I was wondering did i lose a lot of power by doing this. I have no muffler right now but i am going to put back on the stock one will i lose even more hp by doing this?

I'm fairly sure the combo of test pipe and no muffler would produce the most HP, because it has less ressistance. The shop i go to is most likely going to make me a straight catback without a muffler......running a B18c1.
