Default T3 S366 or T4 S366XL?

Hi.

Im currently running a SLS T3 manifold with a single 44 wastegate on my Talon. Stock 6 bolt motor. Over the the winter i plan to do a 2.3L stroker, and build the head as well as the rest of the driveline.

I was considering a turbo upgrade, id like to made 700+ And trap 145+.

I was looking at upgrading to a divided t4 with dual 44's and the run the s366xl in a 1.0 a/r. However, i have heard people saying the largest T3 version of the S366 is pretty nasty. If i went with the T3 version, i would save some money on a manifold and another wastegate.

Just wondering if the T3 version will support my goals in a big heavy awd DSM? Or if i should just upgrade the manifold and go with the XL version. Id prefer not to run a S372, its a little bit too much considering this is still a street car.

Thanks

Numbers are in my Sig. I loved my T3 model S366 I made over 700 with it, by the trap speeds its estimated i made about 740-750 but my dyno read 714 with a little spinning on the rollers at the end i was happy.

We are actually setting our street DSM up with a 366, I am building the manifold as there is no "off the shelf" manifold that will allow it to clear the water pipe and sit well in the bay.

I think the only vehicle faster than mine on a T3 366 that was still a "street car" IS a DSM with a high 9 second pass

Even the SLS manifold dosen't fit the T3 S366 nicely? That is what i was hoping to use.. Geeze.

I think ive decided on a divided T3 s366 0.85a/r

YouTube - cos's dsm goes 9.58

Thats a divided T3 S366 0.85a/r with a undivided T3 manifold. Made 719whp on dynapack, 675 dyno dynamics at around 36-37lbs... Im pretty sure its still a street car.

Thanks!

Very nice, that might be the particular DSM that kept me from the record I was running the divided turbine housing on a NON divided manifold as well. I was running the full race manifold and had to lump my hood a little to make it close properly.

I made my power without ever going over 30psi of boost and my 10.0 passes were at like 28psi maybe a tad less due to the heat and humidity in mississippi that day, it was so hot that my brand new truck that i towed my car with overheated just sitting idling at the track with the wife inside of it, i think it was 105 degrees that day
