I have the Comptech and really like it. Very dependable and Hondata did an outstanding job on the reflash. I have had mine for almost 2 years.

Oh, and whoever said Nitrous, I am adding a NOS kit to go with the Supercharger.

seems hard to go wrong with either one; both companies have good reputations.

Turbo or S/C... Why i picked the s/c. Well our si's dont have **** for power until u hit v-tech for 1. S/C work right off the bat and in my opion for a everyday driver much for effective knowing that i am driving something reliable. But thats my opion so thats why i went with the S/C.

So.. Mods are..

1. Comptech S/C
2. Vibrant Race Headers.
3. SRI injen.
4. ti-c greddy cat back.

maybe 5. S/C pulley kit after the holidays...

people are putting down like 270 to the wheels with the s/c.
and the s/c is much more reliable.

wow 270 thats it????

shame u cant turn up the amount of boost OR if u want to for reasons turn it down....turbos and s/c both have ups and downs.....and it comes down to preference...

What do you mean that's it? Going from roughly 175 at the wheels to 270 fwhp is excellent. All you get is torque steer if you go higher than that. And you can't go all *****-nilly with turning the boost up or down at will without internal modifications.

I always refer people who want to boost to this page if they're serious about going that route. I believe if you're going to go forced induction, do it right.

for under 300whp SC isn't really worth it. I made 300/274wtq on a 100 shot for 1/4 of what the price of what the SC+install would be... Go big go turbo if not go nitrous and save yourself 3-4k. You're SC will be maxed out at 16 psi unless you're getting a rotrex and if you're going to want to add nitrous on top of the S/C by then, you would know that you should have gone turbo in the first place.

A stock block can handle 400whp+ all day on stock internals with a turbo kit... Endless ppl runnin around with low 10 second hatchs only running a turbo kit on a stock block. 400-450whp all day, 680whp is most most of stock block and the guy ran 9.7s with it in an EG.

Most superchargers suck because of the heatsoak, if you like to run your car hard a couple runs in a row you'll see your MPH drop and the car fatigue. If you were to go Rotrex you would have better cooling though.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but supercharging the Civic Si is a very reliable and effective way of adding a lot of power.

Like, you can't even argue with that.

BTW, its "ran," not "runned."

thinkr.....you should be renamed "re-thinkr"

it's hard to listen to someone that sounds like you. both have their pros/cons. besides the OP was asking what company to go with....so he has basically made up his mind on what route to go.

leave it alone already.

i too was a pro-turbo guy. but since the introduction of a SC for the FG/FA's it's opened my eyes to fast, simple and reliable power. not everyone wants to run 10's.

you just proved my point even more.

it's hard to listen to ignorant people. the purpose of modding is not to run 10's but rather to do something you enjoy.

thinkr.....how are you gonna talk about running 10's when in your other posts you're worried about voiding warranty.

not so dedicated are you. *shakes head* why do I waste my time.
