NEED URGENT HELP WITH IMMOBILISER ON EG b18
Hey guys
im a uk member and have tried a few places regarding my current issue, which is a big pain in my rear but worst thing is no one knows how to help expect for me to take my car to the dealership. now i have a eg5 with a b18 and a stripped out interior, and i think i would get laughed at taking it to a honda dealership and also my pocket isnt that deep either.
back to my problem.
i was removing my dash and decided to clean up the wires as there was a few that went connected to anything except for a honda alarm/security box but car had no alarm so thought dont need this and snipped through some wires
my car was started and as soon as i did this it died, my heart sank. i tried starting it and it would, connected the wires back together and it started but it wasnt the same as before. the exhuast was rattling a lot more and something seemed as if it was about to blow.
i managed to find out that this is most likely to be the immobiliser that is connected to the ecu.
now seen as though no electrician wants to come near it what do i do?
im unsure if i connected two of the wires properly as they are both the same colour but even when i swap them its the same thing, my brother suggested resetting the ecu.
can anyone else help
thanks

if it was an immobilizer issue the green key light on the gauge cluster would flash and the engine would only run for a few seconds before it cut off. reconnect all the wires you cut off. they are probably for something important.
well didnt have the speedo clock on and when the wires were disconnected the car didnt start, now they are reconnected it is really weird, really bad exhaust shaking
