I am curious!?
I have a 92 Accord sedan with no tranny and a bad motor and a 87 Acura legend coupe 5 spd with a bad body. How possible would it be to transfer the 2.7ltr v6 5 spd from the Legend to the Accord? Any replys taken into comsideration.
The 4th Generation Accord (by most measures) has even less room in the engine compartment than the 5th gen's (The whole car is smaller).
It would make for an intriguing project and certainly a conversation piece, but the engineering would be daunting at best, and certainly more expensive than what I'd want to lay out.
It won't fit.

The C-series is probably not worth the effort, but you have one and a car with a bare shell. If you have some serious fabrication experience experience, go ahead.

I don't think I've ever seen a C27 in the flesh. I have no idea what the height and width of the engine trans combo is. I'm guessing it's narrower, but may not be a whole lot deeper. The OP needs to go out and take some measurements, as thats going to be the only way to get a real answer. Since he has both cars and neither one is really worth anything, I think it would be a pretty cool project, IF he has the fabrication skills. It's not going to be a weekend job though.
