i have a 97 del sol. when i shut the car off the blower motor stays running. any ideas? the relay is fine, so im not sure..... thanks guys

 

for your rad fan??? this is normal and should shut off after a fem min. does it shut off at all?

 

no the heater blower motor stays on.I have to unhook the bat. everytime i shut the car off or it drains it. i checkes the heater blower relay and its good so i dont know where to go from here.

 

has it always done this since you have had the car? if it has im wondering if the guy you bought it from hard wired it so there is always constant power going to the motor somehow. not sure if im correct here but im just trying to throw some ideas out.

 

oh ok. yeah someone could have wired it up. see if someone did or look for short to powers with bad wires

 

does anything else stay on? or is it limited to that circuit? if its just the blower you can just pull the relay or the fuse for now, its easier than unhooking the battery.....you gotta have a short somewhere and it may take some time to find it
