Have a few q's about swapping.
I was thinking about getting an EK Civic Hatch and Swapping in either a B18C1 or a B18C5 into it. I was wondering the overall differences between them and what would be the best choice for a fast street car. Also, if i got a GSR engine...what kind of numbers would you expect for 1/4 mile.
I also remember someone on here with a white EG Hatch with a B18C5 and carbon fiber hood who posted a few photos of his car. Could someone please post those photos or give me a link.
Thanks in advance.
Here is one of my favorite EK's.

C5 kicks much ***, stronger perfromer, better tranny (shorter gearing + LSD), and it has all the right parts to last a long time under track conditions. Plus you have less to upgrade if you are planning on bolt ons when dealing with a C5.
get a 96-98 EK hatch and a 98 or earlier C5 from a salvage yard and you will have a LOT of fun in no time. Beef up the suspension and brakes on the EK and you will have one monster of a road car.

for a street car don't waste the money on a b18c5 if you can get a b18c1 .if you're gunna track with it, do the c5, but otherwise the gsr engine will be fine for your application. with i/h/e expect low 14's, high 13's
