dont know for sure, both are d series motors, call your honda dealer and find out if they are the same part number.

 

actually they arent both D series.. the ls is a B18, while the Si is a d16a6.. Does anyone else know if they are the same counter parts ? I really need to know soon...

 

They are not

 

actually, you dont know what youre talking about. the title that its a 90 LS(d16a8/9). the LS didnt have a B series motor until 94. either way, b series parts are not compatible with b series and vice versa.

 

90-93 RS, LS, GS have b18a's
92-93 GSR have b17's


90-91 is OBD 0
92-93 is OBD 1

94-01 RS, LS, GS Integra is b18b

94-01 GSR is b18c1

98-01 Type R is b18c5

94-95 Integra is OBD 1

96-01 Integra is OBD 2

I am 100% sure all USDM 90-93 Integra's had B series motor's

the 89 and lower tegs had d series

DX-R you are a dumbass! 86-89 had those d-series motors in them a 1990-1993 had a b18a1's and then after it had b18b1'd! haha idiot!

So I guess its official that the ls distributor is not actually an 88-91 Si counterpart ?

 

that comment on the D series teg does not apply to usdm integras. The d series engine they are reffering to is the ZC.. correct me if Im wrong on that...
