Default SF Bay Area New Year's Meet

Hey kids,

I know the Roseville meet just ended, but I'm organizing a casual meet for those of you a little closer to the Bay. Here are the basics, with links to the real meat and potatoes.

Basic info:
Jan 3rd (Saturday after New Year's)
Parry's Pizza in American Canyon (near Vallejo)

Detailed info available here:
http://www.evite.com/pages/invite/vi...XCQWHRMBOBZEDT

Invite your friends, enemies, whoever's interested! Parry's really doesn't have a massive amount of seating, but they have truly massive pizza's and massive (cheap) slices. If you're interested in food, please post how much cash you can bring to throw in and we'll order a massive (36" or so) pizza to share. Looking forward to seeing you crazy kids there!

I have a few ideas for overflow, it looks like the Diner down by the Ferry Building is going to be where we end up. They have good coffee, good food, lots of seating, and you can see your car no matter where you park.

Just checked with the folks down at the diner (mycafe) and they'll have plenty of staff on-hand if we need an overflow place. Please please please, if you're planning to go, RSVP on the Upcoming page, so I can get a reasonable estimate of who's showing up.

If you know any other forums that we might be able to find some more good people who would be interested in this, feel free to post it up, but make sure they RSVP. Also, anybody who's interested in doing a group pizza, shoot me a pm or email me at drummingpariah@gmail.com

I'm guessing we'll hang out till 8 or so, but it's really up to how late everybody who shows up wants to be there.

I didn't post it there. You should repost there, as long as they're good people overall. Sac isn't far, you could definitely make it down here. Especially for Parry's pizza. They really are that good.

Do me a favor, and toss an estimate of how many you're bringing up on the upcoming page that I linked to? I posted this on a ton of forums (mostly just for cars that I own or have owned, so if you want to repost it elsewhere, go for it!). As it stands, it looks like we're going to have to overflow to MyCafe (the diner down the street) but we'll see how many people actually show up.

Parry's seats around 30 (at most), the MyCafe seats around 100 (at most), so either way we'll be just fine. Worst case scenario, I'll toss a message in the doorway of Parry's with directions to the diner (it's dead simple to find).

If this ends up with a decent turnout, I might make it into a regular kind of thing.

Well, we'll see how this turns out. It's only my second meet since I moved out here since Boston, and the last one was pretty awesome (in Orinda though).
