so i wanna turbo my crx does any one know if i can still pass smog with a turbo b16
in cali

 

Easiet way to get it smogged is to find someone with a stock CRX and find a connect that'll do it for you under YOUR papers. 150-200 is usually the going rate for Hondas
I know this dude that paid $300 for his Supra to get stickers.
It's like $1/ HP

I don't live in Cali anymore, but some turbo kits are carb legal. But I do know some guys that will just keep a stock header and intake and computer to swap in when it's time to get smogged. Kind of a bitch, but that's cali for ya.

 

The BAR can be a real pain! Unless your turbo kit is CARB legal the BAR will not sign off on it. You might be able to pass on admissions but not the visual so you'll probably have to do it illegally. gl
