Icon6 2000 Honda Civic SI

Hey Honda freaks whats up!!!!!!!!!! Alrighty well I have a problem with my SI. I just got this vehicle about a month ago and haven't really paid much attention to it since I have a civic hatch b16 as my daily driver but with my SI I notice it hesitates to crank up when I try to start it almost as if it chokes up, I was thinking it could be the fuel pump or maybe a fuel relay but I also notice it throws white smoke through the exhaust when I turn it on and stays smoking a lil bit while its running, come to find out when I check the engine oil it was low. Does anyone know why it could be burning oil? maybe a ring bearing or a head gasket? I would appreciate any help heres a pic of her, Thanks!

check the compression, could be rings or a headgasket. if it has a stock exhaust or a big muffler like a world sport it could just be throwing out condensation

It has a Greddy SP2 exhaust with DC headers. Funny thing is that after a few minutes or starting the car it shows no hesitation on performance and runs normal.

I have friend here at work that has the same issue with using oil but shows no sign of leaking or burning oil... I am going to compression test his car and go from there
