i just swapped out my ef std hatch with a zc sohc......i also did dpfi to mpfi...all the wiring is fine....i tripple checked it.....the motor turns over but no ignition......i think it is spark....also its flooding there is gas coming out from the down pipe when i try and start it...any suggestions..also i took out one of the spark plug wires (side that goes to spark plug) couldnt see a spark?

try swithching the two white wires on the dizzy around. Also are all your dizzy internals good.

 

Timing order correct?

I did the same thing with the white wires on the distributor.

 

check and make sure the white and orange wires are right @ the ecu. some write ups dont get into detail about it.
