whenever i plug something in the cigar lighter plug the fuse just blown up.i want to know,if i buy a cigarette lighter plug,can i wire it to the battery or anywhere safe.

 

Are you sure everything you plug in blows the fuse?

If you're going to buy another plug, I don't think there's much point tapping into the battery directly because you'll have to go through the firewall and such. Just wire it to the fuse box.

 

yes,not just blown fuse,but also **** up my ipod

 

it might be grounded somewhere near the plug causing it to blow a fuse, also check to make sure you have the correct fuse in?
