Default exhaust piping question.

i'm planning on gettin a custom exhaust for my soon to be turbo'ed b16 sol. i saw some of the tanabe and apexi exhaust and found out that the muffler sits at an angle to reduce the amounts of "curbs and bends" for maximum gains. i noticed that to do this, the exhaust needs to run UNDER the gas tank and sits REALLY low. i guess if you go with a 2.5" piping ground clearance would be ok but i'm planning on goin 3". Would this be too low if i plan on getting a lowered suspension setup or are there any other ways? i want to go w/ the r. medallion style or the n1 muffler but figure if i'm gunna go w/ that kinda muffler i should keep it at an angle to get the most out of it. any suggestions on this?

I think tanabe and greddy make exhausts specially for forced induction applications. Choose which one sparks your fancy and purchase.
