Default Ticking after service

Just did an oil change and now my LMAs are ticking loud even when warmed up. Changed my oil from 10W30 to 15W50. Shouldn't the more viscous oil silent them a little? They use to tick only when cold and go away when the engine is warmed up. Now it ticks all the time. Could it be an issue of too much oil? My mech just emptied 4quarts in. If its any help, the oil used was Amsoil.

Can it be so coincidental? It was fine before the oil change.

The reason is because you changed your oil. Should stick to 10w30
